For many, growth often looks like numbers on a screen. Metrics, conversions, and charts that rise and fall. But for Milos Eric, growth has always meant something deeper: building connections that last. Whether it’s linking athletes and coaches, companies and agencies, or employers and hospitality professionals, his career has been defined by one principle: Growth is only meaningful when it empowers people.

As Co-Founder and General Manager of OysterLink, a hospitality jobs and networking platform launched in 2025, Milos continues that mission. With data-driven strategy and irreplaceable human insight, he has helped shape a company that transforms how hospitality professionals find jobs.

From Startups to Systems

Milos’s journey began with a simple question: How can technology create real value for people? His first answer came in the form of Sportifico, a platform connecting over 1,000 coaches and 15,000 athletes worldwide. It gave athletes a stage to showcase their skills and gave coaches a digital tool to recruit with precision. But beyond the tech, it showed Milos what happens when you build with intention… when innovation meets purpose.

Sportifico also opened doors to collaboration with global brands. His PR campaign for Adidas in the Adria region achieved a 400x return on investment with its data-led storytelling. For Milos, it was an early lesson in how strategic communication and community-building go hand in hand.

That philosophy guided him to DesignRush, a B2B marketplace connecting companies with top agencies in web design and marketing. As General Manager, he oversaw a team of more than 150 employees, scaling operations and driving 40% year-over-year growth. But what defined his time there wasn’t just performance; it was culture. Milos worked to strengthen leadership and improve retention. He emphasized building a system that allowed teams to thrive under clear goals.

Later, at Digital Silk, a digital agency serving high-profile clients such as HP, IBM, and P&G, Milos deepened his expertise in digital growth. It was also where he met his future co-founder-a connection that started as a professional collaboration but eventually led to a shared vision that would define their next venture.

The Birth of OysterLink

OysterLink began as a shared idea between Milos and his now co-founder, born from years of experience in digital growth and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry’s unique challenges. They saw an opportunity to fix what was missing in the sector: a place where hospitality professionals could find not just jobs, but opportunities to grow in the hospitality industry.

Launched in 2024, OysterLink quickly set itself apart as a data-driven, people-centered platform designed to help restaurant and hotel professionals advance their careers in hospitality. Milos led the marketing and growth strategy, taking the platform from zero to 400,000 visitors and increasing user engagement by 50% within months. But the true measure of success, he says, is how OysterLink connects real people with real opportunities.

Milos often points out that nearly 90% of hospitality job opportunities still come through personal connections-a system that hasn’t fully caught up with the digital shift. With OysterLink, he’s working to modernize how the industry networks. “It’s not just about jobs,” he explains. “It’s about creating a space where professionals can connect, learn, and grow together.”

OysterLink: Redefining Hospitality Careers

At its core, OysterLink is more than a job board. It’s a full ecosystem built for the hospitality world. It offers top-paying, verified jobs across restaurants, hotels, bars, and resorts, matched by position, location, and experience level. Each listing is backed by real-time market insights, giving candidates the transparency they need to make informed career decisions.

For businesses, OysterLink provides more than applicants-it offers solutions. With its data tools and retention-focused features, employers can benchmark salaries, analyze hiring trends, and access industry reports to stay ahead in an ever-competitive market.

The platform also serves as a knowledge hub. Through expert guidance, original research, and exclusive interviews with industry leaders, OysterLink helps users understand not only where to work, but also how to grow. From chefs and bartenders to managers and hoteliers, professionals come to OysterLink for connection, mentorship, and community.

As Milos puts it, “Our goal isn’t just to help people find jobs. It’s to help them build careers, networks, and futures.”

Leadership Built on Learning

Having managed diverse teams across multiple countries and industries, he learned early that scaling a company is as much about people as it is about processes.

He’s candid about the challenges-leading teams remotely, maintaining alignment across departments, and ensuring every member feels valued in a fast-moving environment. His approach centers on clarity, mentorship, and accountability. “When people understand the ‘why’ behind what they do,” he says, “they start building with purpose, not just performance.”

This people-first strategy has consistently paid off. From Sportifico’s grassroots momentum to DesignRush’s scaling success and OysterLink’s rapid rise, Milos has proven that structure and creativity don’t compete. They coexist.

Beyond Metrics: A Vision for Lasting Impact

For Milos, success is about endurance, not exits or milestones. He’s drawn to building companies that outlive their founders, systems that empower entire industries, and platforms that continue evolving with their users.

At OysterLink, that means constantly improving how technology serves hospitality workers-from AI job matching to professional networking tools. But it also means preserving the human touch at the center of it all. “Technology should make people’s work easier, not replace the relationships that make this industry thrive,” he says.

Looking ahead, Milos envisions expanding OysterLink’s influence beyond hiring, evolving it into a global community where hospitality professionals can share insights, grow their skills, and shape the future of the industry together.
