Infosys, India’s second-largest IT services company, is actively pursuing additional acquisitions after two significant deals earlier this year. The company, which recently expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of In Semi Technology Services and in-tech Holding, is now exploring opportunities in sectors such as data analytics and software-as-a-service (SAAS), with potential targets in Europe and the US.

In January, Infosys completed the acquisition of In Semi Technology Services, a semiconductor design services firm based in India. This move was followed by a larger acquisition in April, where Infosys, through its German subsidiary, acquired in-tech Holding, a prominent provider of engineering R&D services headquartered in Germany. The deal, valued at approximately €450 million, marked a notable expansion into engineering services, particularly in the semiconductor and automotive sectors.

Infosys is now poised to continue its acquisition strategy, focusing on companies that align with its strategic goals and financial capabilities. The company is considering firms in the data analytics and SAAS domains and is also evaluating opportunities in other European countries and the US.

The company’s acquisition strategy will depend on several factors, including strategic alignment, financial considerations, and cultural compatibility. Infosys aims to integrate new acquisitions smoothly while enhancing its capabilities and market reach.

With a strong balance sheet and robust cash flow, Infosys is well-positioned to pursue these opportunities and further solidify its position in the global IT services market. The company remains committed to expanding its footprint and capabilities through strategic acquisitions that complement its existing business areas
